That’s a big reputation!
Taylor Swift set an Acrisure Stadium attendance record Saturday night.
73,117 people were there for Swift's second concert.
Garth Brooks had the previous record of 72,887 in 2019.
The crowds were crazy for Swift, even cheering and yelling when she had to take a moment to blow her nose.
She made mention that Cruel Summer, her pride and joy on the lover album, is being released as her next single thanks to her fans.
She also has two “surprise” songs on each night.
Friday it was “Mr. Perfectly Fine” and “The Last Time.”
Saturday was “Seven” (with special guest Aaron Dessner on keyboard) and “Story of Us”
In addition to people inside the stadium, there were thousands outside trying to enjoy the music, without having to pay to get in.
That wasn’t the only big impact Swift made, The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank announced before her first show.
CEO Lisa Scales says the amount donated was not disclosed but was “generous”
"We're so grateful to Taylor Swift for partnering with us to support people in our region who struggle with food insecurity. Her donation will ensure thousands of our neighbors have the food they need to thrive,” said Scales, who added they’ll be able to provide thousands of meals thanks to Swift.
Swift’s “Eras Tour” could end up being the highest-grossing tour of all-time and when all said and done, could put her income over $1 billion.
