Pittsburgh Police were sent to a home in the 2500 block of Woodward Avenue around 7:45 p.m.
Suspects reportedly broke into the home, went upstairs and shot the boy in the stomach and leg.
The teen was in critical condition when he was rushed to UPMC Mercy for surgery.
Two men were seen running from the house after the shooting and drove away.
Police stopped the vehicle a short time later and took them into custody.
