Temperatures could dip into the single digits overnight

Winter isn’t even officially here yet but the temperatures already feel like mid-January.

Western Pennsylvania could see record-breaking cold temperatures overnight. National Weather Service meteorologist Mike Kennedy telling the Big K Morning Show its going to get very cold overnight.

“The winds are going to die down and that will allow the temperatures to really drop, especially with the snow cover we have, so area lows are going to be around 10 degrees or so,” said Kennedy.

The record low for December 5 is 12 degrees.

So, make sure the kids are bundled up before they head to the bus stop in the morning.
