We grieve with you at the loss of 21 lives, 19 of them children in Uvalde, Texas.
The safety of our children is our first priority yet we continue to search for answers that are hard to come by.
There is no easy solution to the plague of gun violence.
But, we believe when the holiday is over, the search for answers will be renewed with a greater urgency.
It’s a complicated time in our country and the horrific tragedy in Texas reminds us how precious our families are.

This weekend, as we celebrate Memorial Day, pray for the families of Uvalde, hug your loved ones and cherish your time together.
Greet a neighbor, do something kind and remember those who gave their lives in military service.
They are the reason we observe Memorial Day.
