A Wilkinsburg man is facing the consequences after pleading guilty to stealing from a fellow passenger on a Pittsburgh-bound flight last year.
Jaymer Ferrell, 23 of Wilkinsburg, was sentenced after pleading guilty to stealing from a passenger on a flight from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh last April.
Court records show Ferrell went through other passengers’ bags while vaping onboard.
He was arrested when the plane landed at Pittsburgh International Airport, with a backpack containing a wallet and credit cards that weren’t his.
Ferrell will serve a year of supervised release, including 90 days of home detention, and pay a $250 fine.
