They're signs business is emerging from the pandemic recession, however competing for employees who have little incentive to return to work or find a new job is very problematic.

In March, a family of four received as much as $12,800 in stimulus money, depending on income and the children's ages.

And there's also $300 in extra weekly unemployment cash and tax credits of up to $3600 per child starting in July.

With that much money coming in there's little reason to get back to work right away.

Some economist are saying that is a good business decision.

There were a record 8.1 million job openings going into April but fewer hires per opening than at any time since 2001.

Congress got the timing all wrong.

People needed help months ago.

Not so much now, when the economy is coming back and the pandemic is easing.
