Three people dead after carbon monoxide leak in Butler

Three people died and two others were injured after a possible carbon monoxide leak at a home in Butler.

First responders were called to the house on College Street around 5 p.m. Monday.

Two men and a woman were found dead on the second floor and two people were taken to a hospital, conditions unknown.

Investigators say carbon monoxide levels in the home were high.

The identities of the victims have yet to be released and autopsies will take place today.

The EPA recommends you have a carbon monoxide detector on every floor of your home.
