Three people are dead after two separate fires in the area.
Two elderly people found dead after a house fire Monday afternoon in South Fayette Township have been identified.
The fire was reported around 1:15 p.m. on the 5000 block of Tom’s Run Road.
After the flames were put out, firefighters searching the house found the bodies of 81-year-old Benito Bonilla and 75-year-old Barbara Bonilla on the second floor of the home.
The investigation is being handled by the Allegheny County Fire Marshal’s Office.
One person is dead and another injured in an early morning two-alarm fire in Shaler Township.
Fire crews called to a home in the 10 block of Beyrleye Avenue around 2:30 a.m. battled heavy flames and smoke. Nothing yet on identities.
