A Severe Thunderstorm watch has been issued by the National Weather Service out of Pittsburgh with a front expected to move through Western PA Tuesday evening.
The watch includes all of Western PA and areas north and east of Pittsburgh.
NWS says winds could gust up to 70 miles per hour. Some areas west of Pittsburgh, in Ohio, have experienced destructive wind up to 80 miles per hour.
The chance of a tornado is also possible in some areas and hail as big as ping pong balls could fall as well.
The National Weather Service tells KDKA Radio to follow directions if you find you are in the path of one of these strong storms.
