Government waste is nothing new at any level.
Several different administrations have talked about how they were going to shrink the government and get spending under control. As we all know from experience, talk is cheap.
The reason the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) hits different is that there really hasn't been much talk, there's been plenty of action. You hope the push back isn't based on defending fraud and corruption.
It's simply another example of how destructive partisan politics becomes. Because it's Donald Trump and Elon Musk, many people are automatically dead against it.
Even though these billions of wasted dollars could help our veterans, the homeless, the hungry or something crazy like paying down the National Debt.
We believe it's always the right time to do the right thing and trimming the fat from government spending is the right thing to do.
