With the possibility of severe weather Thursday evening, the National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for most of Western PA.
The watch is in effect until 11 p.m. for all of northern Ohio, Western PA and part of West Virginia.
The National Weather Service out of Pittsburgh says “a couple tornadoes (are) possible” along with scattered hail and winds gusts of 80 mph possible.
Remember, a watch is different from a warning.
A watch does not mean a tornado will form, but that the ingredients will be in the air that could result in a tornado.
The National Weather Service will issue any warnings, if needed.
