With severe weather expected in Western PA Wednesday, the first watches and warning have been issued.
A tornado watch has been issued for a large part of Southwestern PA, including Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, Fayette and Greene Counties through 8 p.m.
A flood watch is in effect for much of Western PA through 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The difference between a watch and a warning is to think of it like a cake.
A watch is all of the ingredients are there to make a cake, a warning is when the cake is in the oven.
