Toys”R”Us is making a big holiday comeback with plans to open 120 new stores nationwide and several in the Pittsburgh area.
At least 21 of the locations are in Pennsylvania.
In the Pittsburgh area, Toys”R”Us says it will open stores at Ross Park Mall, the Mall at Robinson, South Hills Village Mall, the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, Westmoreland Mall and Monroeville Mall.
Opening dates have not been announced.
The new stand-alone Toys”R”Us stores promises to have all of the hot holiday toys including LEGO, Barbie, Pokémon, KPop Demon Hunters and other brands.

Toys”R”Us closed over 800 stores in 2018 after a Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The brand returned inside select Macy’s locations in 2022.
