It was an extremely difficult morning on the roads.
Crashes on the Parkways East and West caused major delays during the Tuesday morning commute.
On the Parkway West, a tractor trailer crossed the center median at the bend right near the Carnegie exit shutting down both lanes for a time with traffic getting by on the right shoulder.
Traffic was down to one lane on the inbound side causing heavy delays.
Vehicles were stacked all the way back to the North Shore expressway and the County Jail.
The inbound side was backed to I-79.
An accident on the Parkway East near the outbound Churchill caused issues across town for a while.
