PITTSBURGH (Newsradio KDKA) - Vice President Kamala Harris and Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh will make a visit to the city of Pittsburgh Monday afternoon.
If there is one thing that Pittsburgh needs addressed, Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald would ask VP Harris about transportation.
"That would be both transit, and some of the roads and bridge work that needs to be done," Fitzgerald said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show Monday. "When I talk to companies, and I do on a daily basis, what comes up again, again and again, is they ask about the transportation system."
Fulfillment centers, manufacturers and tech enterprises would all benefit logistically, said Fitzgerald.
