The Yinzer combination of Iron City Beer and Turner’s Ice was so popular, fans are going to have to wait until May for more IC’D Tea.
“Thank you & we’re sorry,” Iron City and Turner’s both posted to their Facebook pages earlier this week.
“We made more than we thought we'd need, just to be safe... but by 4:12PM on 4-12, our initial stock was completely spoken for,” the post said. “Poetically perfect, but tragic for many eager Yinzers.”
More of the beer is being produced after what is being called a “record-breaking launch” of the beer.
The two local companies say it isn’t a typical hard tea.
