Pittsburghers that live outside of the area will soon be able to enjoy the taste of Turner’s Tea wherever they are.
The over 90-year-old Dairy farm and beverage maker out of Penn Hills will make a powdered tea mix available to those in Pittsburgh and out of towners at the end of October.
Pre-sales for the Premium Iced Tea mix will be made available will begin in a couple weeks.
“Because all of Turner’s products have to be refrigerated, shipping would be complicated and rather costly,” A rep for Turner Dairy told KDKA Radio.
They add that the powdered mix has been years in the making.
After the pre-sale, the tea mix will be sold on Turner’s online store.
They’ll come in packs of three with each pack making two gallons.
“You simply mix the powder with water, and it’s ready to drink,” said the rep.
