Two accused of stealing nearly $4k in items from Hempfield Lowe's

Police in Hempfield Township are looking for two people suspects accused of retail theft.

Pennsylvania State Police say that a man and woman took multiple items from the Lowe’s on Hempfield Square Boulevard on two different dates in October.

The total number of items stolen is over $3,280.

Among the items taken on October 13 were two Milwaukee 110 mph battery-operated leaf blowers, a Craftsman 25cc gas trimmer, a 1 hp 230-volt stainless steel submersible well pump, a ¾ hp 230-volt stainless steel submersible well pump, and a 24-inch aluminum pipe wrench.

On the morning of October 15, two snow blower fabric/vinyl cab accessories, a ½ hp 115-volt cast iron sewage sump pump, four 20-volt 10-inch straight battery string trimmers, a 4,200 psi pressure washer, and a 2,100 psi 1.2 gpm cold water electric pressure washer were all taken.

The suspects reportedly fled in a black Ford pickup truck on both days.
