Two establishments have been ordered to close by the Allegheny County Health Department.

Fat Catz in Knoxville was operating without a valid health permit, operating while previously ordered closed and they refused entry for an inspection

The health department says an inspection was attempted by both Pittsburgh Police and the fire department.

Fat Catz also known as The Lobbi was previously ordered to close in September 2021.

O'Fela African Lounge in Carrick was also operating without a valid permit.

Among the violations inspectors found was evidence of rats.

The lounge was also operating "carbon monoxide producing equipment" without the correct ventilation as well as plumbing issues.

Both remain closed as of Wednesday.

Those establishments are the second and third closures of 2023.

Last month, the Burger King in Moon Township was closed for two days due to an active roof leak.
