Separate investigations are underway at two separate schools involving possible drugs.

Pittsburgh Public Schools says two four students were taken to the hospital Wednesday after they ingested an unknown edible Candy.

A spokesperson to the district says four students at Brashear were involved in the incident.

The incident is under investigation and no other information is available because the students involved are minors

At Marion Elementary School in the Belle Vernon district a fourth-grade student gave a clear, resealable bag with a cut red straw and white powdery substance inside, to a teacher.

The teacher secured the bag and Washington Township Police were alerted.

It’s known what the substance is but it is suspected to be an illegal narcotic. The package was sent for lab testing.

The district says the student did not ride the bus this morning and walked directly to the teach after entering the school.
