A man and a teen are in custody after a carjacking early this morning in Homewood North.
Police responding to the incident around 2 a.m. at Kedron and Sterrett streets say an Uber driver told them he picked up two men, drove them to their destination and they then forced him out of his vehicle at gunpoint and drove off.
The driver was not injured.
Officers pursued the vehicle to Penn Hills, where it hit a light pole.
The driver and passenger bailed out and were quickly arrested.
Police say the weapon turned out to be a bb gun.
