It was a violent night in Pittsburgh with two shootings and a stabbing.

A young woman is dead, shot multiple times late last night in Brighton Heights and police are looking into another shooting in the area.

25-year-old Danasia Lighty was fatally wounded while she was sitting in a vehicle in the 3500 block of Fleming Avenue around 11 p.m.

The shooter approached on foot and fired several shots before leaving the scene.

She was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Another shooting happened nearby. A man was shot in the leg and dropped off outside Allegheny General Hospital in stable condition.

It’s possible the shootings are related.

In Marshall-Shadeland, a woman is in critical condition after being stabbed.

Public Safety says officers were sent to the 1100 block of Hall Street around 11:45 p.m.

The woman walked to a nearby home to ask for help after she was stabbed in the neck more than once.

Police say she was attacked in a home on Rothpletz Street.
