PITTSBURGH (Newsradio KDKA) - Port Authority of Allegheny County employees have until Tuesday to get vaccinated against Covid, after a judge denied a motion preventing requirements last week.

10% of the Port Authority workforce, or 500 employees, could be put on leave as a result of failing to comply with orders.

A notice was sent out Friday warning riders that significant delays and missed trips could occur because of the mandate.

The Port Authority says the agency will not be able to deliver up to 20% of its scheduled service for several weeks, as they try to determine where service outages will occur.
