Pennsylvania State Police in Westmoreland County are investigating after $55,000 of copper wiring and other items were stolen from a West Penn Power facility.
Troopers out of the Kiski Valley say the theft happened before 11:40 p.m. last Wednesday at West Penn-owned property in Derry Township.
4,000 feet of copper wire, valued at $20,000 was stolen along with several brass items.
No suspects have been identified. An investigation continues.
