A new report confirms what you’ve probably suspected, Pennsylvania has a lot of vape shops.
Using data from Foursquare, online vape retailer Huff and Puffers looked at how many vape shops there are in a given state, per 100,000 people.
Using that formula, Pennsylvania ranks ninth in the nation for vape shop density with a figure of 13.7.
For comparison's sake, Huff and Puffers used the same formula for the number of McDonald's.
That's a 3.7, a full ten points below the number of vape shops.
The highest concentration of vape shops is Nevada, where the density score is 21.
The state with the lowest is Vermont, with a 5.7 vape density score.
