Police are investigating after a man was reportedly shot inside a vehicle on the South Side over the weekend.
Video, obtained by KDKA Radio's Marty Griffin, shows a dark-colored SUV pull into the westbound lane of the 1500 block of East Carson Street, slamming into a silver-colored vehicle around 2:15 a.m. Saturday morning.
Then, what sounds like several gunshots are fired from the dark-colored vehicle into the silver one.
The silver vehicle takes off on the video, followed by the dark-colored one, pulling onto a side street.
Police say officer located a male victim who has run to the area of South 16th Street and Bingham Street.
He was taken to the hospital with wounds to his arm, leg and stomach, last listed in critical condition.
"The early investigation shows that the shots were fired from a moving vehicle. Damage to at least one other vehicle was reported to police," a release from police states.
No word on any arrests. An investigation is ongoing.
A few days earlier, video obtained by Griffin shows a man run onto East Carson Street but it hit by a green Jeep.
The victim is propelled several feet and is attended to by several bystanders.
The Jeep also stops and the person behind the wheel gets out to check on the person hit.
No word on any injuries.
