Police have made an arrest man accused of setting trash on fire and putting it on a person’s porch in Verona.
Just before 6:30 on Thursday evening, units responded to the 400 block of Wildwood Avenue for reports of a fire.
Police say Ricardo Vantine took rubbish, set it on fire and then placed it on a residential front porch.
The fire was quickly extinguished before any serious damge could be done.
Vantine was taken to the Allegheny County Jail and awaiting arraignment on charges of arson.
