Victim in brutal attack after Jason Aldean concert speaking out

A woman that says she was beaten during a fight in the Star Lake parking lot after a concert recently is speaking out.

One of the victims, Victoria, tells KDKA Radio’s Marty Griffin her jaw and ribs “are both busted” and that she has a concussion after an incident was caught on camera after the Jason Aldean concert on August 9.

She says the incident happened after the concert when her and her sister were walking toward their car.

“That’s when, the man who punched me and his group of friends and he started just yelling at us, harassing us, calling us names, like taunting us to come over to him” said Victoria. “That’s whenever he just walked over to be and he just punched me once.”

Victoria says the fight was unprovoked and she feared for her life during the attack.

She says the man behind the attack has been identified and that charges are pending, but KDKA Radio has received no official word of any impending charges.

The 20-year-old says doctors have told her it will take around five weeks to recover and that she currently cannot work.

The video showing the attack has been seen by millions of people. Victoria says she has turned off social media, for the time being, because of negatives comments made about her.

Victoria says before her incident she witnessed several other fights inside and outside the venue and that some people online are confusing her incident with another.

Griffin says he is hearing an arrest will be made sometime this week.
