Video shows heartbreaking moment dog is abandoned in Hermitage

UPDATE: According to Sports Radio 96.7, police may have identified the vehicle.

A dog is at a western Pennsylvania shelter after she was apparently abandoned on Tuesday.

Sports Radio 96.7 in Hermitage posted a video on Facebook that appears to show a dog being dropped off and left at an old location the station used.

The person(s) that dropped the dog off appeared to be driving a dark-colored Mazda vehicle.

The Shenango Valley Animal Shelter confirms with KDKA Radio they have the abandoned dog that was found on Pine Hollow Boulevard in Mercer County.

The dog has a pink collar, is not micro chipped and has no tags.
