If you’re heading to the mall for Black Friday or any other day during holiday shopping, you’ll find some new stores at places like South Hills Village.
Von Maur, the Iowa-based “upscale department store” just opened earlier this month in the former location of Sears.
It’s Von Maur’s first location in Pennsylvania and offers brand names for men and women like, Marc Jacobs, L.L. Bean, Bobbi Brown, UNRL and more.
“We are excited this highly anticipated moment is here as we officially welcome Von Maur to our already compelling mix of retailers,” said Danny Bishop, general manager at South Hills Village. “Von Maur’s wide selection of premium brands and their elevated customer experience will greatly enhance the shopping experience at South Hills Village.”
That isn’t the only new store coming to South Hills Village this Holiday season.
Flo Yoga will open soon on the second level at Entrance C near DICKS’s Sporting Goods.
Yoga classes for all skill levels will be offered.
Miniso, a Japanese-inspired store will sell household good, cosmetics and more. Miniso will open “soon” and will be near Old Navy on the upper level.
Soled PGH will have the latest releases for shoes, streetwear brand and more, located on the lower level across from H&M. Simon’s website says Soled PGH will be open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
Perfumania is the country’s largest fragrance retailer and offers bath and body products, as well as cosmetics, skin care and more. Perfumania just opened this month and is located on the lower level near Macy’s.
The Gardenia Branch, a woman’s retail store just opened at South Hills Village is on the lower level near Target. They open at 6 a.m.
on Black Friday.
Steel City clothing pop-up shop. The locally-owned retailer offers shirts, hoodies and other Pittsburgh-centric items. Steel City is near Von Maur, on the lower level.
Wigle Whiskey, the popular local distillery has a Holiday Pop-Up shop at DICK’S Sporting Goods.
While you’re shopping make sure you don’t drop and pick up a bite to eat at a few new places including Cinnabon and locally-owned Miku Sushi.
A new J. Crew will open at South Hills Village early next year.
