Pittsburgh’s Kamin Science Center is in the running for a national honor, on USA Today’s 10Best list of science museums.
The North Shore museum is being recognized for its interactive exhibits and recent expansions, putting it among the top science centers in the country.
USA Today’s 10Best readers are now voting on the best science museum, and the Kamin Science Center is near the top of the list.
Formerly known as the Carnegie Science Center, the museum is highlighted for attractions like the Buhl Planetarium, the Robot Hall of Fame, and the hands-on BodyWorks exhibit.
Late last year, Kamin also debuted Sports360, which blends science with sports.
Online voting is open through noon Monday, February 9, with voters allowed to cast one vote per day.
Winners will be announced Wednesday, February 18.
