A Labrador retriever at Pittsburgh International Airport is in the final four of the Transportation Security Administration’s Cutest Canine Contest and he needs your help.
“Steeler”, a 2-and-a-half-year-old lab was born on Super Bowl Sunday along with the rest of his litter.
Steeler got the best name and has been with an Explosives Detection TSA officer at PIT for the past year.
Voting is now open HERE. You have until Tuesday, August 19 at noon to vote for Steeler.
He is facing off against Erika, a German Shepherd at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.
Pups like Steeler help keep travelers safe while they travel, using their enhanced sense of smell to detect possible explosives.
If Steeler wins, he’ll face the winner of the second semi-final on Wednesday.
And, the champion will be announced on August 26.
