Temperatures will continue to rise throughout the week, topping out near 80 this weekend.
But, it will be accompanied by a lot of rain.
National Weather Service meteorologist Mike Kennedy tells The Big K Morning Show.
“We’re forecasting, by Saturday, up at the Airport, Downtown, 78 . . . that’s what we have in the forecast now,” said Kennedy.
But Kennedy adds that there is the possibility of up to three total inches of rain could fall from the middle of the week through the end of the weekend.
The warming trend will continue through the middle of next week, with highs in the low 70s possible.
