If you live in West Deer Township, prepare to dish out some extra cash.
Starting next year, west deer residents will pay $32.25 per month to have their garbage picked up, that's over $8 more than it cost last year.
That's due to township supervisors voting to approve a three-year garbage hauling contract with County Hauling Of Belle Vernon.
In 2026, residents will pay $36.86, and in 2027, $35.55.
West Deer residents had been paying $24 per month for garbage collections by Shank Waste Service of Lower Burrell.
