A 46-year-old West Virginia man was killed in a hit-and-run incident Monday afternoon in Washington County.
The coroner says Brian Everhart stopped the commercial truck he was driving on the side of the ramp from Route 22 to I-576 to investigate a mechanical issue and was hit by a vehicle around 3:40 p.m.
The driver didn't stop.
