13 people have been charged by Pennsylvania State Police and Butler County agencies in connection with a cocaine trafficking ring that reached into Youngstown, Ohio.
Attorney General Dave Sunday says seven upper level dealers in Youngstown provided cocaine and crack to both users and drug dealers in Butler County, making hundreds of trips from Ohio to Western Pennsylvania over the past year.
While several suspects are in custody, U.S. Marshals are helping arrest the other two who remain at large.
“This criminal organization made routine — sometimes daily — trips into Pennsylvania to distribute poisons into our communities,” Attorney General Sunday said. “Working with our partners, these arrests effectively shut down a major cocaine trafficking pipeline.”
