Big plans are in place for the site of the old Century Three Mall in West Mifflin.
Atlantic Retail is marketing redevelopment plan to replace the mall.
Tim Schooley with The Pittsburgh Business Times tells The Big K Morning Show to talk about the new game plan for the site.
“A group out of Chicago, called Key Development Partners, there’s a specific name for the property itself which is about 89 acres and it’s about 60 or 70 percent down,” said Schooley.
He says the proposed mixed-use development includes retail, apartments, hotel and restaurants.
“Everything else does well there, it’s not an area where you see a whole lot of vacancy anywhere else so, it’s very reasonable to think there’s going to be demand for this,” added Schooley.
There's no time frame yet for closing on buying the property.
