A downtown business is considering its future after they were robbed on Wednesday.

LISTEN: Wiener World owner is frustrated after being robbed.

Wiener World Denny Scott says his restaurant was robbed after the lunch rush by a man.

Video provided to Marty Griffin shows Allegheny County Police and the county sheriff’s office arriving on the scene.

Scott says the man came and went to the front of the line and started yelling.

He adds he told him to leave and two hours later, came back and stole items from the counter.

“I knew something was going to go down when he walked in, I watched him chug a 32-ounce beer and fire the can into a garbage right before he walked into our place,” said Scott.

Scott confirmed that the man was taken into custody, but is now considering leaving, believing it may not be worth it to be downtown on Smithfield Street.

“We’re read to give up, enough is enough,” added Scott. “We’ve met with the mayor we’ve met with the county executive, nothing’s changed.”

Scott has been on with The Big K Morning Show for the past two months, trying to get the word out on his claims of drug use and homelessness in the area affecting his business.
