Several counties in Southwestern PA are under a Winter Storm Warning with a system forecasted to come through on Saturday.
The National Weather Service says a Warning is in effect for Westmoreland, Washington, Greene and Fayette Counties from 1 p.m. Saturday through 1 p.m. Sunday.
Between 5 to 8 inches of snow is expected to snow south of Pittsburgh.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Pittsburgh, Allegheny County and the rest of Western PA.
The National Weather Service is forecasting 3 to 5 inches for those under the advisory.
AccuWeather told KDKA Radio they expect 2 to 3 inches total.
NWS says its possible the Advisory could be changed to a warning, so keep it locked on KDKA Radio throughout Saturday for the latest conditions.
Allegheny County Public Works says it is prepared for the snow and will deploy 24 trucks once the snow starts falling.
