According to a report, Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa could be sending several months behind bars in Romania.
TMZ reports Khalifa is facing a nine-month sentence for smoking marijuana after a festival in July 2024.
Khalifa was originally fined around $700 U.S. dollars but a Romanian publication reports a Constanta Court of Appeal handed down the sentence on Thursday.
Khalifa was detained right after the incident but later released.
Romania continues to have strict drug laws.
TMZ reports Khalifa’s legal team is “currently in the process of appealing the sentence.”
