Early Sunday morning Kiski Township Police were called to a domestic incident in Vandergrift.
When they arrived they learned that 31-year-old Leah Wuchervich assaulted a man.
As she was being arrested she resisted and tried to take the officer's gun from his holster.
After she was restrained she was transported to the Armstrong Memorial Hospital in order to receive medical permission for being drunk.
While at the hospital, she was screaming and yelling swear words at the hospital staff.
Once she was cleared, she was taken to Armstrong County Jail to await arraignment.
Wuchervich is facing changes of disarming a law enforcement officer, simple assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and harassment.
