A 23-year-old woman is dead and another has injuries following a single-vehicle crash in Fayette County early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. on Route 40 near the Kwik Fill station in Menallen Township.
The car was heavily damaged after colliding with a utility pole.
Madison Porfilio died at the scene and the person with injuries was taken to a hospital, condition unknown.
