A woman is dead after a stabbing Monday morning in Homewood West.
Police were sent around 5 a.m. to the 6800 block of Lyric Street.
Officers found the woman inside a residence with a stab wound to the chest. She died at the scene.
Police think an altercation may have preceded the stabbing.
Detectives are reviewing video footage from the area. There are no arrests at this time.
