The identity of a woman found in a pond has been identified.
Police say 34-year-old Kele Diane Townsend of Jeannette was found in the pound near 202 Broadview Road in New Stanton.
Westmoreland County Coroner Timothy Carson was able to identify Townsend through medical records, teeth, tattoos and more.
Townsend's cause of death is pending an autopsy and toxicology report, along with further investigating.
