A woman was found shot in Homewood South Wednesday morning.
First responders were sent to the 7000 block of Kelly Street found the woman in the rear courtyard of a building around 7:45 a.m.
Her condition was critical when she was taken to a hospital.
The Mobile Crime Unite processed evidence at the scene and an investigation is ongoing.
