A woman who was smoking while using oxygen sparked a fire Wednesday morning in Beechview.
Investigators say it happened on the first floor of a duplex on the 2100 block of Pauline Avenue.
The woman was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation in stable condition.
Three people living on the second floor were able to get our safely.
The first floor was heavily damaged, the second floor had smoke damage.
An investigation is ongoing.
