A woman reportedly took a three-and-a-half hour Lyft ride from the Harrisburg area to Kennedy Township last night.
She's accused in a shooting incident
Police say 25-year-old Kayla Menne arrived in the Kennedy neighborhood a few minutes after 6 p.m., exited the ride-sharing vehicle outside the home of a couple fostering her biological daughter, a couple planning to adopt the child and allegedly fired nine shots at seven people outside the Julia Lane including the foster couple.
The criminal complaint says a man punched Menne and took the gun away from her and an off-duty police officer handcuffed her.
Menne was taken to a hospital for a psychiatric commitment.
She's facing 18 charges including assault and reckless endangerment.
