Woodland Hills football have reportedly removed its head coach.
The Woodland Hills High School's football team went to North Allegheny this past Friday and defeated the Tigers, 33-25.
Their head coach, Brian Tarrant, missed his second straight game, and the Post-Gazette reports he has been officially removed as head coach of the team.
The reason? According to Woodland Hills Athletic Director Ty Brown in a letter to parents of the players, it was “due to WPIAL rule violations.”
The exact violations were not specified.
Brown will have a meeting with parents Monday afternoon at 5:30 at the school to discuss the situation.
Maurice Walker has been the acting head coach the past two games, a position he'll likely continue.
