Pittsburgh police say a toddler is now in the custody of Children Youth and Families after she was found outside in the cold on the 900 block of Woodlow Street in Crafton Heights overnight.
A man who was on his way to work around 4:30 Wednesday morning saw the girl, who was wearing sandals.
He kept her in his vehicle to keep warm until police arrived.
She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police believe she is 3 or 4-years-old.
An investigation is underway.
