Through Feb. 4 2021, Pennsylvania has administered more than 1.1 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Through these doses 671,820 people have gotten a first dose, while 246,390 people have gotten two.
These numbers do not include those from Philadelphia, as they are under their own jurisdiction working directly with the federal government.
With 918,210 people given at least one dose of the vaccine, that is higher than the number of positive tests the state has seen since the beginning of the outbreak.
The PA Health Department today announced the total number of cases within the commonwealth sits at 861,674.
The number of vaccine doses administered is expected to reach over 2 million over the weekend.
The PA Health Department website has additional information regarding vaccine data, distribution, and guides on receiving a vaccination.
They also remind everyone that constant mask wearing is still required in all businesses and the constant use of a mask is vital in slowing the spread of COVID-19.
